Rafah Crossing Welcomes 61st Batch of Palestinian Returnees to Gaza
The Rafah crossing processed the 61st batch of Palestinian returnees amid ongoing Israeli violations that killed two in Khan Younis.
The Rafah border crossing today received a new batch of Palestinian returnees to the Gaza Strip.
A responsible Egyptian source told the Middle East News Agency that the procedures for the new batch (the 61st) are being finalized, ahead of their return to the Gaza Strip.

He explained that a team from the Egyptian Red Crescent received the Palestinian returnees at the Rafah border crossing.

He added that the Egyptian authorities are preparing to receive a new batch of wounded and sick Palestinians from the Gaza Strip for treatment in Egyptian hospitals.
Ongoing Israeli Violations
As Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement that went into effect on the tenth of last October continue, two Palestinians were killed and a number of others were injured in the bombing by Israeli occupation forces of a Palestinian gathering in the city of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip. In the same context, artillery shelling and gunfire from occupation vehicles continue, in addition to the demolition of residential buildings in the eastern areas of the Strip.
