The Saudi Transport General Authority confirmed that the tanker 'Insilia,' owned by a Saudi company, was targeted while sailing in the Red Sea, causing a fire to break out at the bow of the vessel.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted an official source at the authority stating that all crew members are safe, and that relevant authorities have taken all necessary measures to secure the ship and its crew and protect the marine environment.

The source stressed that targeting commercial vessels is a violation of international laws and norms that ensure the safety of maritime navigation and ship crews.
