Sharjah Police reduces traffic fines by 50% in celebration of Union Day
Sharjah Police announces a 50% reduction in traffic fines for 51 days from December 1, 2022, to January 20, 2023, celebrating the 51st Union Day, excluding severe violations, and canceling vehicle confiscation and traffic points.
Sharjah, November 29 / WAM / The Sharjah Police General Command announced, pursuant to the decision issued by the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, a reduction of traffic fines by 50 percent in celebration of the 51st Union Day of the country for a period of 51 days from December 1, 2022, to January 20, 2023.
The Sharjah Police General Command has taken all necessary measures to implement the decision on time, including all fines recorded before December 1, except for severe violations, as well as canceling vehicle impoundment and traffic points for all fines.
The Sharjah Police General Command urged drivers and vehicle owners to benefit from the fine reduction decision and settle their status, noting that the fine payment service is available through the Sharjah Police application (Sharjah Police) and the Ministry of Interior application (MOI UAE), as well as through Sahl devices spread in police stations and commercial centers in the emirate.
