(CNN)-- Official media in the Sultanate of Oman and Jordan reported attacks by drones and missiles on Sunday, amid a new round of strikes exchanged between the United States and Iran.
In Jordan, the Jordan News Agency quoted a military source as saying, 'Three missiles coming from Iranian territory landed at several locations inside the kingdom in the early hours of Sunday.'
The source added: 'No casualties were reported, and damage was limited to minor material losses.'
In the Sultanate of Oman, the Oman News Agency quoted a security source as saying that sites in Musandam Governorate 'were targeted by drones,' without specifying the source of those drones.
Musandam Governorate is located at the southern entrance to the Strait of Hormuz and overlooks part of it.
Earlier, Iranian official media reported that Iranian forces had targeted sites in the Sultanate of Oman and Jordan in response to the latest wave of US strikes.
Both Qatar and Kuwait had announced earlier on Sunday local time the interception of aerial attacks, while sirens sounded in Bahrain, and authorities called on residents to head to the nearest safe location.
