Traffic Police Seize 7,890 Violating Motorcycles in Field Campaign Across Kingdom's Regions

Traffic departments across the Kingdom's regions conducted a field campaign to crack down on violating motorcycles from Sunday, June 28, 2026, to Saturday, July 4, 2026, resulting in the seizure of 7,890 motorcycles. Jeddah topped the list with 1,886 violations, followed by Riyadh with 510, then the Holy Capital with 250 violating motorcycles.

Traffic departments across the various regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia conducted an intensive field campaign to crack down on violating motorcycles, during the period from Sunday, June 28, to Saturday, July 4, 2026.

The campaign resulted in the seizure of 7,890 violating motorcycles nationwide, distributed across regions and governorates as follows:

- Riyadh Region: 4,182 motorcycles

- Jeddah Governorate: 1,886 motorcycles

- Madinah Region: 510 motorcycles

- Eastern Province: 250 motorcycles

- Taif Governorate: 235 motorcycles

- Holy Capital (Makkah): 225 motorcycles

- Qassim Region: 176 motorcycles

- Asir Region: 107 motorcycles

- Najran Region: 93 motorcycles

- Hail Region: 76 motorcycles

- Tabuk Region: 60 motorcycles

- Jazan Region: 63 motorcycles

- Al-Baha Region: 3 motorcycles

- Al-Jouf Region: 9 motorcycles

- Northern Borders Region: 8 motorcycles

- Qurayyat Governorate: 7 motorcycles

This campaign comes as part of security agencies' efforts to enhance traffic safety and reduce violations that pose a danger to road users.
