Media reports have indicated that the halftime break in the final match of the World Cup, scheduled for next Sunday, will be extended beyond the usual 15 minutes due to a show that will take place during the break.

The duration of the show is not yet clear, but reports estimate it will last between 20 and 30 minutes.

The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) announced weeks ago the participation of several stars in the show, including Madonna, Shakira, Justin Bieber, Coldplay, and the South Korean K-pop group BTS, but did not reveal the show's duration.

The regulations of the International Football Association Board (IFAB) stipulate that players are entitled to a halftime break not exceeding 15 minutes, and its duration can only be modified with the referee's consent.

Before the final match, a closing ceremony will also take place, featuring performances by Laura Pausini, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robbie Williams, alongside the famous YouTube content creator 'IShowSpeed'.

American actor Tom Cruise will also appear during the ceremony. FIFA said the show, which will take place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, will highlight key moments of the tournament, which featured 48 teams in the United States, Mexico, and Canada, and started on June 11.
