The technical staff of Al-Ettifaq's first football team has scheduled four friendly matches so far during their training camp in Portugal from July 8 to July 20, according to sources close to Al-Riyadiya. According to the same sources, Al-Ettifaq will face an English team, a Spanish team, and two European teams, as part of the program set by Australian coach Arthur Papas. On the field, the technical staff focused on physical aspects in the Saturday morning session, with intensive fitness training and yoga exercises to enhance concentration and mental readiness, before the players underwent a recovery program to recover from training loads. In the evening, training shifted to the technical side, as Papas implemented several tactical drills, and concluded the session with a scrimmage where players applied the technical concepts worked on by the coaching staff, as part of the camp's preparatory program.
