The first round of the 2026 Saudi Toyota Hill Climb Championship concluded on the Al-Mohammadiya Pass in Ash Shafa, Taif Governorate, with 43 male and female racers competing across 10 categories, including the Women's Cup, under the supervision of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, implementing a new competition system that increased the number of rounds to six and fostered a strong competitive atmosphere.
The first round of the 2026 Saudi Toyota Hill Climb Championship, held on the Al-Mohammadiya Pass in the Ash Shafa area of Taif Governorate, concluded with 43 male and female racers competing across 10 different categories, including the Women's Cup, in one of the strongest rounds of the championship since its inception.
The championship is held under the supervision of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, managed by Bakhashab Motorsport, with Jameel Motorsport as the official partner and Brandshap as the strategic partner for the 2026 season.
The first round saw the implementation of the new competition system for the 2026 season, which increases the number of competitions to six instead of four, with two qualification rounds added to the program. After the qualification rounds, the top 20 racers in the overall standings, along with the first-place holder in each category, qualified for the two decisive rounds. Final results were based on the best time recorded by each racer in these rounds.
The 4.2-kilometer Al-Mohammadiya Pass track, with its sharp mountain turns and elevation changes, hosted fierce competition, reflecting the continuous development of hill climb racing in the Kingdom.

• Class 1: Mamoun Al-Qabbani first with a time of 3 minutes 28.936 seconds, Faisal Al-Qabbani second.
• Class 2A: Ahmed Al-Qaidi first with a time of 3 minutes 42.228 seconds, Rabee Al-Awar second.
• Class 2B: Saber Al-Zulfi first with a time of 5 minutes 57.480 seconds.
• Class 3A: Sultan Hamdi first with a time of 3 minutes 51.128 seconds, Abdullah Khoja second, Mahmoud Abed third.
• Class 3B: Ibrahim Al-Shuraida first with a time of 3 minutes 59.755 seconds, Sultan Kailo second, Mohamed Abdel Ghaffar third.
• Class 4A: Abdulaziz Al-Fadhli first with a time of 4 minutes 06.280 seconds, Bandar Al-Sulami second, Yassin Al-Fanso third.
• Class 4B: Abdullah Mo'mena first with a time of 4 minutes 04.413 seconds, Hisham Al-Badi' second, Ali Fadl Ali third.

The event achieved significant organizational success thanks to the efforts of 38 marshals along the track, who played a crucial role in managing racer movement and applying safety standards.
All eyes are now on the second round of the championship, scheduled for July 17 and 18 on the Al-Mohammadiya Pass track, in light of the close levels revealed by the first round results, and the racers' pursuit of improving their times and boosting their points tally.
