(CNN)-- More than one Arab player succeeded in scoring against opposing teams during their first appearance in the World Cup.

Moroccan Ismail Saibari was the top scorer in the 2026 World Cup with 3 goals, followed by his compatriots Sofiane Rahimi and Azzedine Ounahi, Algerian Riyad Mahrez, and the duo Emam Ashour and Mostafa Ziko with two goals each, while Egyptians Mohamed Salah and Trezeguet, Jordanian Mousa Al-Tamari, and Moroccan Achraf Hakimi scored one goal each.
