Abha's management has opened negotiations with Senegalese international defender Abdou Diallo to strengthen the first football team ahead of the new season, according to a source from Al-Riyadiya. The same source indicated that the southern club's management established direct contact with Diallo (30 years old) after his contract with Qatari club Al-Arabi ended last season, aiming to finalize the deal before the start of the external camp in Slovenia from July 16 until early August. The defender, born in France, standing at 1.68 cm, is left-footed. He began his career when he progressed through Monaco's academy before joining the first team in 2015. He then moved to Belgian club Zulte Waregem in 2016, and from there to Mainz in Germany in 2017. After one season, he left for Dortmund, and in 2019 he signed with Paris Saint-Germain for three seasons, before returning to the German league with Leipzig. In 2023, he preferred a new professional experience in the Middle East and signed with Qatari club Al-Arabi. After one season, he moved to Al-Duhail, and in 2026 he was loaned to Umm Salal until the end of his contract last season. The same source revealed that Abha's management renewed the contract of defender Abdullah Al-Fahd for one season, keeping him with the team after his involvement in their recent promotion from the Yelo League.
