Abha Agrees with Malaek
The management of Abha club has agreed with Mustafa Malaek to represent the first football team for one season, according to sources revealed by 'Al-Riyadiah'. According to the same sources, the 40-year-old goalkeeper is scheduled to sign his contract with the southern club, recently promoted to the Saudi Roshen League, within the next two days. Malaek started his career with Al-Ansar in 2004, and later moved between several clubs, starting with Al-Ittihad, Hajer, Al-Faisaly, Al-Fateh, Al-Shabab, and then with Neom in last season's competitions. On the other hand, Abha will face its counterpart Sharjah of the UAE on Sunday in its first friendly match at Roga Ska Slatina stadium in the Republic of Slovenia. The Abha delegation left on Thursday to Slovenia for a preparatory camp that will continue until next August 1, as part of its preparations for the Saudi Roshen League competitions.
