The French Football Federation has announced the date for presenting the new head coach of the national team to the media, following the departure of Didier Deschamps after the conclusion of the 2026 World Cup.

Deschamps' tenure with the French national team ended after finishing fourth in the 2026 World Cup. During his era, Les Bleus won the 2018 World Cup and the 2021 UEFA Nations League.

According to French reports, Zidane has reached a final agreement with a monthly salary of 300,000 euros, which could rise to 450,000 euros with bonuses.

Agreement with Zidane

The French Football Federation did not reveal the name of the new coach, but press reports stated that Zinedine Zidane will take over the role with a contract extending until 2030.
