Al-Bulaihi Awaits Inzaghi's Decision Ahead of Austria Trip
Ali Al-Bulaihi, defender of Al-Hilal first football team, awaits Wednesday the decision of his Italian coach Simone Inzaghi regarding whether he will accompany the blue delegation to Austria, according to a source specialized to 'Al-Riyadiah'. The same source explained that Al-Bulaihi remains a Hilali player, with one year remaining on his contract, and Inzaghi will decide his participation in the team's camp, which starts Wednesday in Austria, based on his technical needs. The source stated that Al-Bulaihi, 36, underwent standard physical and muscular tests before joining training with the group in recent days, after recovering from influenza that prevented him from entering exercises after returning from the seasonal vacation last week.
During eight and a half seasons, Al-Bulaihi played with the capital club's shirt, 263 matches, scoring 23 goals and assisting 3 goals, before being loaned to Al-Shabab last January, according to statistics from 'Transfermarkt' website. He contributed to winning five league titles, three King's Cup titles, three Saudi Super Cup titles, in addition to two AFC Champions League titles with Al-Hilal. The blue team's delegation is scheduled to depart to Austria on Wednesday to organize a preparatory camp extending until the third of next August, during which it will play four friendly matches: against Sturm Graz on July 19, four days later against Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, on July 29 against MC Alger, and concludes its friendlies against Qatari Al-Ahli on the final day of the camp.
