Mexican media reports have revealed Al-Diriyah's interest in signing Argentine Juan Brunetta, a Tigres player, during the current summer transfer window, as part of the club's efforts to strengthen its squad ahead of the new season.

According to Jesús Barrón, host of the program "Fútbol Al Día" on "Canal 6 Deportes", Al-Diriyah is studying the possibility of submitting an offer worth up to $12 million to secure Brunetta's services.

Despite the circulating news about Al-Diriyah's interest, sources within Mexican club Tigres confirmed that as of Wednesday, July 8, the club had not received any formal offer for the Argentine player.

The source said: "So far, we have not received any offer for Brunetta, whether from Mexican league clubs or from outside Mexico. It was also rumored that Cruz Azul is seeking to sign him, but we have not received any formal offer regarding the player."

The 29-year-old Argentine player joined Tigres at the beginning of 2024 coming from Mexican side Santos Laguna, in a deal worth around 5.4 million euros.

Brunetta, who excels as an attacking midfielder, is one of Tigres' key players over the last two seasons, having played 55 matches last year and contributed to 33 goals, scoring and assisting.

In the current season, he played 28 matches and managed to contribute 17 goals, between scoring and assisting, while his contract with Tigres extends until the end of next year.
