The management of Al-Diriyah Club has agreed to play two high-profile friendly matches during the pre-season camp for the new sports season, facing UAE's Al Ain and Qatar's Al Rayyan, as part of a technical program set by Portuguese coach Bruno Lage to boost player readiness before the start of the Saudi Roshn League.

The selection of the two matches came at the direct request of Lage, who aims to test his team against opponents with continental experience and high competitive levels, allowing him to implement his tactical ideas and assess the readiness of his players ahead of the club's first-ever season in the Professional League.

External Camp in Two Phases Al-Diriyah will hold its external camp in two phases. The first begins in Sweden on July 12, where the technical staff will focus on physical and technical preparation, before moving to the second phase in Spain starting July 26, which will see intensified tactical work and friendly matches in preparation for the final stage before returning to the Kingdom.

The Al-Diriyah management relies on the current preparation program to prepare the team in the best possible way, amid the great ambitions accompanying the club's debut in the Saudi Roshn League, after strengthening its ranks with several quality signings and contracting with Portuguese coach Bruno Lage to lead the technical project in the upcoming phase.
