The management of Al-Fath Club agreed with Moroccan international Marwan Saadan on renewing his professional contract that expired at the end of last season, according to a special source reported by Al-Riyadiya. The source confirmed that the official signing will take place next week after completing the approval procedures from the Financial Sustainability Committee of the Saudi Professional League. Saadan joined Al-Fath in 2019 from Turkish club Çaykur Rizespor, and participated in 200 matches, scoring 16 goals and providing 5 assists. He also represented the Moroccan national team for the first time in 2015, and played 18 international matches, scoring one goal. He was part of the national team squad that participated in the last World Cup, which Spain won against Argentina 1-0 last Sunday. Al-Fath began its preparation phase in Al-Ahsa at the beginning of July with medical examinations, then training started on the sixth of the same month.
