Al-Hilal first football team defeated its South African counterpart Mamelodi Sundowns two goals to nil in the friendly match that brought them together on Friday evening at Sportplatz Friedberg in Austria, as part of the preparatory program for the upcoming sports season.

Brazilian winger Malcom opened Al-Hilal's scoring in the first half, and the same player returned to strengthen his team's lead in the second half.

Head coach Simone Inzaghi started the match with a lineup that included: Al-Yami, Youssef Achtchiche, Ali Lajami, Muteb Al-Harbi, Mishal Al-Daoud, Malcom Philip, Nasser Al-Dosari, Sergej Savic, Sabri Dehl, and Karim Benzema.
