Al-Ittihad club has drawn closer to finalizing its technical staff file, following negotiations with German coach Jens Wissing reaching their final stages, in preparation for him to take charge of the team for the new season.

According to informed sources, the past days have seen significant progress in talks between the two parties, with understandings reached on most contract clauses, while some final details remain before the official announcement of the agreement, once procedures are completed.

The Al-Ittihad management is seeking to finalize the coach file as soon as possible, to ensure oversight of the start of the preparatory program for the new season, which includes an external camp and a number of friendly matches, in addition to establishing a technical vision for the team roster and needs during the summer transfer window.

The Al-Ittihad management's move comes within the framework of its preparations to compete strongly in all local and continental championships next season, by building a team capable of continuing to achieve positive results, while benefiting from the experienced and star players the team already includes.
