Al-Khaleej also contracted with three players during the summer transfer window to strengthen different positions in the team, while the management announced the departure of five players, within a technical plan aimed at giving the coaching staff options that match the needs of the upcoming stage. The new project is led by Portuguese coach José Gomes, who took over after his previous experience with Al-Fateh, where the club's officials rely on him to build a more stable and competitive team, benefiting from his previous experience in the Saudi league and his knowledge of the atmosphere of the championship.
Al-Khaleej continues its preparations for the new season through its preparatory program, hoping that the technical and administrative changes will be reflected in the team's results, and that it will present a different appearance during the upcoming season.
