Al-Owais Joins Al-Hilal
Mohammed Al-Owais, goalkeeper of Al-Hilal first football team, joined the ongoing external camp in Austria, according to what the club's official account published on platform 'X' on Sunday. Al-Owais's joining came a day after the capital's blue announced signing him from Al-Ula for two years. The 34-year-old international goalkeeper returns to Al-Hilal after one season he spent with Al-Ula following his departure from the club in summer 2025. Al-Owais participated in all 34 matches of Al-Ula in the Yelo League for First Division clubs last season with a total of 3120 minutes, conceded 32 goals, while kept a clean sheet in 11 matches. Al-Owais's first period with Al-Hilal began in January 2022, after his transfer from Al-Ahli, and continued until summer 2025, during which he played 20 official matches, conceded 17 goals, and kept a clean sheet in ten matches. Al-Owais achieved six titles during his first experience with Al-Hilal, represented by two Saudi Roshn League titles, two Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup titles, and two Saudi Super Cup titles. The goalkeeper progressed through the youth categories of Al-Shabab before reaching the first team, then moved to Al-Ahli in 2017, and continued with them until January 2022, after which he had his first experience with Al-Hilal, then moved to Al-Ula in summer 2025, and returned again to the blue team.
