Irishman Brendan Rodgers, coach of Al-Qadsiah first football team, will test his full squad against Oviedo (second division) on Wednesday afternoon in a friendly match at the Spanish camp in Girona, according to a source close to Al-Riyadiya. Al-Qadsiah will play two more friendlies during its camp, which started on July 5 in Girona and lasts until the 26th of the same month, against the same city's team on the 18th and against Levante at the end. The training sessions included the participation of Moroccan left-back Sofiane Al-Karouani, recently signed from Dutch side Utrecht, as well as Mohammed Al-Qahtani, after buying his contract from Al-Hilal. The Irish coach aims to bring the players to full readiness before the start of the season, which will include participation in local tournaments and the AFC Champions League Elite. On the other hand, Riyad Al-Alma'i was officially appointed as executive director of media, communication, and public relations at the Aramco Stadium belonging to Al-Qadsiah Club.
