Young right-back Mohammed Al-Sarnowkh is heading from Al-Fateh's pre-season camp in Spain to Al-Hilal's camp in Austria to join his new club, which signed him to a five-year contract. Both clubs announced Monday evening that Al-Sarnowkh, 19, has transferred to Al-Hilal's first team. Al-Fateh, which agreed to sell the remaining term of his contract, noted the player's progression through the club's age groups, from the under-13 team to the first team. Al-Hilal said: 'The player will join the team's ongoing camp in Austria in preparation for the upcoming sports season.' Portuguese Jose Gomes, Al-Fateh's former coach, promoted Al-Sarnowkh to the first team at the start of this year and fielded him in ten matches, all in the Saudi Roshn League, two as a starter and eight as a substitute. The player made his debut for Al-Fateh's first team on January 3 against Al-Shabab in the 13th round, coming on as a substitute and playing 11 minutes. His two starts came against Al-Fayha in the 18th round and against Al-Okhdood in the postponed 10th round. At the international level, Al-Sarnowkh has represented the Saudi under-16 and under-18 national teams.
