Al-Shabab first football team kicks off its first friendly matches against Romanian Politehnica at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, as part of the external camp held in Austria, preparing for the new sports season, according to the official account on X platform. German Thomas Letsch, the new Al-Shabab coach, aims to get to know the players better through the first friendly, after being contracted 10 days ago to take over the technical management of 'Al-Liouth', hours after the players returned from their end-of-season break, and three days after the appointment of the management headed by Abdulaziz Al-Malik, and Olivier Renard as the club's sports director.

The official account had announced organizing four friendly matches in the Austria camp, as after Tuesday's match, it will play a trial against Emirati Al-Nasr on the 26th of this month, followed four days later by a match against Qatari Al-Ahli, and the capital club concludes its trials against Algerian Mouloudia.

Al-Shabab finished last season in 13th place with 35 points, after having played it under the leadership of Spanish coach Imanol Alguacil, then Algerian Nourredine Zekri.
