England Regain Rice for Argentina Clash
Declan Rice, midfielder for the England national football team, leads the starting lineup for the match against Argentina in the 2026 World Cup semifinal on Wednesday, after recovering from illness. The medical staff gave Rice the green light to participate with his teammates in the match. The player suffered from an illness that caused him to be substituted at halftime of the quarterfinal match against Norway. German Thomas Tuchel, England manager, said: "Everyone is ready to start, everyone trained except for the suspended Jarrell Quansah and the injured Jordan Henderson." Henderson is absent due to a broken arm sustained in an accidental incident after the match England won against Mexico, one of the three host nations, in the round of 16. The coach added: "Rice is ready to start, and he has recovered as much as possible."
