(CNN)-- England defeated Norway 2-1 in a match played at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday night, in the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup.

Norway had taken the lead first through Andreas Schjelderup in the 36th minute, then Jude Bellingham scored the equalizer for the Three Lions in the 45+ minute, with the regular time ending 1-1.

In extra time, Bellingham scored the second goal in the 93rd minute, leading his teammates to reach the semi-finals.

This is the fourth time England has reached the semi-finals in the history of its World Cup appearances.

The Three Lions will play against Argentina or Switzerland in the semi-finals on July 15.
