The New York New Jersey Stadium will host an exceptional closing ceremony for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ on Sunday, July 19, ahead of the final match of the largest World Cup in history, starting at 13:30 local time.

The International Federation of Association Football explained that the ceremony, which precedes the final showdown, will celebrate the historic journey of the 48 teams across the three host countries and 16 host cities, and will bring together a selection of the world's top music and entertainment stars.

Global Artistic Performances and Special Appearances

Organizers noted that the ceremony will feature performances by Laura Pausini, Nicole Scherzinger, Robbie Williams, and IShowSpeed, with a special appearance by star Tom Cruise, in a celebration bringing together some of the biggest names in entertainment ahead of the final.

The statement added that global star Jennifer Hudson, winner of Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony awards, will perform the national anthem of the United States in a special rendition just before kick-off.

Co-Production and Fan Experiences

For his part, Haimo Schergi, Chief Operating Officer of FIFA World Cup 2026, affirmed that the ceremony is an extension of the tournament's spirit that welcomed the world in Canada, Mexico, and the United States, and will combine music, culture, and football ahead of the final match.

In the same context, the audience present in the stadium will play an active role in the show, as the ceremony's activities begin at 13:30 local time, 90 minutes before the final kicks off. Gates open at 11:00, and performances and entertainment activities will continue until match time.

It is worth noting that the closing ceremony is produced by Balich Wonder Studio, and celebrates the passion and global spirit of the tournament, which saw a record participation of 48 teams and broke several records. More artists and guests are expected to be announced in the coming days.
