He added: 'It was destined for us to win away from our fans, but we made them feel closer to us.'

Torres, who was named best player of the final despite coming off the bench, explained: 'I faced a lot of criticism during the World Cup, but fate is written, and thanks to God who always gives me the strength to continue.'
