Doha, November 16 /QNA/ The delegation of the Saudi national football team arrived in Doha this evening to participate in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which kicks off next Sunday for the first time in the Arab region.

The Saudi delegation includes 26 players, led by Frenchman Hervé Renard, the team's head coach. The delegation will stay in the city of Mesaieed at the Marooj Resort, with training sessions to be held at the training fields designated for World Cup teams in the Sealine area.

The Saudi national team plays in Group C of the World Cup alongside Argentina, Mexico, and Poland. It will open its matches against Argentina at Lusail Stadium on November 22.
