Jürgen Klopp has categorically denied reports circulating on social media claiming he made comments about the England national football team's defeat in the World Cup semi-final or criticized the tactics of their coach Thomas Tuchel.

In a video on Instagram, Klopp said: 'Today, I received a lot of messages about things on social media claiming that I spoke about the England match, about Thomas Tuchel, the tactical plans, and things like that.'

Referring to his role as a pundit for Magenta TV, Klopp said: 'That is not true. I haven't spoken to anyone in the last three, four, or five days. The first time I will speak publicly will be on Sunday during the World Cup final.'

He emphasized: 'It's a crazy world. Don't believe everything you read. This time, what was published is completely wrong.'

England lost to Argentina 2-1 in the semi-final last Wednesday, and their coach Thomas Tuchel faced criticism for his defensive approach after his team took the lead, before Argentina scored two goals in the final minutes to clinch the match.

Klopp, the former Liverpool manager who is set to take over the German national team, was not part of Magenta TV's analysis team for that match.
