The Spanish national team continues its impressive performances and advances toward the summit, as the team qualified for the semi-finals of the 2026 World Cup after defeating Belgium 2-1 in the match that brought them together the day before yesterday, Friday, in the quarter-final round.

The Spanish team opened the scoring in the 30th minute through its player Fabian Ruiz, before the Belgian team equalized in the 41st minute through its player Charles De Ketelaere, ending the first half with a positive draw of 1-1.

In the second half, the Spanish team intensified its offensive attempts to decide the match, until its player Mikel Merino succeeded in scoring the winning goal in the 88th minute, leading his country to a precious victory and securing a ticket to the semi-finals, continuing its journey towards competing for the 2026 World Cup title.
