At the expense of Al-Nassr.. Al-Hilal secures its third summer signing
Al-Hilal has secured its third signing during the upcoming summer transfer window, after outperforming its neighbor and traditional rival Al-Nassr.
Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiyah reported that Al-Hilal has agreed with Al-Hazem on buying the remaining term of the contract of its Saudi winger Nawaf Al-Habashi.
The newspaper explained that Al-Habashi will sign his contract with Al-Hilal within the next few hours, with a duration of 3 seasons, ending in 2029.
Al-Habashi will be Al-Hilal's third signing during the upcoming summer transfer window, after officially signing Sabri Dehl from Al-Fayha and Abdullah Al-Enezi from Al-Fateh, while it is close to signing goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais from Al-Ula.
The signing of Al-Hazem's winger represents a strong blow from Al-Hilal to its neighbor and traditional rival Al-Nassr, as press reports confirmed that Al-Nassr also wanted to obtain the player's services.
Nawaf Al-Habashi is a Saudi player, 28 years old, proficient mainly in the left wing position, and can also play as a playmaker.
Al-Habashi began his career with Al-Shabab, where he was promoted to the first team in 2018, before moving to Al-Qadsiah in 2019, then Al-Diriyah in 2020, and from there to Al-Riyadh after two seasons, with his last stop being Al-Hazem since 2023.
It is worth noting that Al-Habashi participated with Al-Hazem in 30 matches last season, in the Saudi League and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, during which he succeeded in scoring 5 goals and providing 3 assists.
