(CNN)-- How to define the concept of "Glamour"? That elegance associated with captivating presence and charisma?

This concept remains elusive to define, as it is not reduced to a piece of clothing or a passing trend, but is born from a person's ability to turn small details into an unforgettable visual signature.

"Glamour" is embodied in the scarves and capes of American socialite Lee Radziwill, known for her refined taste and elegant style that made her one of the foremost fashion icons of the 1960s and 1970s, along with her polished hairstyle and striking jewelry.

It also appears in the style of Jackie Kennedy, former First Lady of the United States, and her adherence to the silk headscarf and oversized sunglasses, which became part of her timeless visual identity.

It also stands out in the style of American fashion editor Diana Vreeland, known for her red scarf that she would tie around her waist to give her all-black outfits a distinctive artistic touch, a style that Chanel's creative director Matthieu Blazy evoked in one of his recent shows.

In the world of men, this aura seems rarer. Only a few have succeeded in embodying the true concept of "glamour," including Italian designer Giorgio Armani, who established a timeless style based on precisely tailored navy trousers and matching shirts, along with his distinctive presence and bronzed skin.

Also prominent is American rapper A$AP Rocky with a wardrobe combining vintage-inspired Saint Laurent suits and bold accessories, while French designer Haider Ackermann turns the simplest suits into a fashion statement through details like silk scarves or the way a collar is worn.

The question remains: Who today deserves the title of the most elegant and captivating man?

The search for this type of presence may lead us to the world of sports, where athletes have never been more connected to fashion than today. The pre-game outfits of NBA players, known as "Tunnel Walks," have become moments that receive media coverage akin to fashion shows.

Standing out among them are stars like Tyler Herro, LeBron James, Lauri Markkanen, and OG Anunoby, whose fashion choices have become part of the game's culture. New York Knicks player Jordan Clarkson also walked in a runway show for American designer Willy Chavarria's menswear line in Paris.

Football players, in turn, have become more interested in crafting their image off the pitch, with looks combining sport and fashion. Adrien Rabiot appeared in pieces from French label Louis Vuitton and Italian label Off-White, while Hugo Ekitike chose designs from French brands like Vetements and Matières Fécales, and Michael Olise turned heads with a shirt from French house Maison Margiela and a fur hat from American brand Vakhiya.

But these looks rarely fall into the category of truly captivating elegance; they are often closer to fashion in its purest sense—outfits focused on trendy directions and carefully styled streetwear, but sometimes seem a bit too calculated.

In contrast, Norwegian star and Manchester City player Erling Haaland presented a different model during his appearance at the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Sartoria show in Sicily, Italy.

Haaland, who previously caught attention with his large collection of Hermès bags and love for unconventional accessories, appeared in cream satin trousers paired with a double-breasted white jacket, dark sunglasses, a gold frog-shaped pin, and woven navy leather loafers.

But the most striking element was the thin, satin-like scarf, which he placed unconventionally over his shoulder, evoking the style of the Milanese man embodying the concept of "Sprezzatura," i.e., effortless, casual elegance.

Since the era of English player David Beckham, no footballer has emerged with this level of boldness and presence in style. In the 1990s, Beckham's off-field looks, from full leather suits to sarongs by French designer Jean Paul Gaultier, sparked widespread controversy, even leading England manager Glenn Hoddle at the time to question the impact of his style on his image as a professional player.

Today, an athlete's off-field appearance is no longer just a personal choice but has become an essential part of building public image and enhancing media presence. Haaland seems to treat this aspect as a new space to express his personality, even the small details in his outfits, such as custom-made hair ties imported from South Korea, reflect his full engagement with this world.

Perhaps nothing embodies the concept of "Glamour" more than a player who knows how to turn the simplest details into a distinctive mark.
