The management of Al-Diriyah Club is targeting the signing of Argentine Juan Brunetta, star of Mexican club Tigres, during the current summer transfer window, according to what was published by the program "Futbol Al Dia" on the channel "MultiMedios Deportes Mexico" on Thursday. Al-Diriyah's management expressed readiness to reach an estimated amount of $12 million to secure the services of the attacking midfielder, although it has not yet made an official offer, according to the Mexican channel. The program stated that a delegation of scouts from the Saudi club, recently promoted to the Roshn League, visited the city of Monterrey, where Tigres is based, to scout players, facilities, and attend matches of the 2026 World Cup. Brunetta, who grew up at Arsenal Sarandi in his home country, is currently in a training camp with his team preparing for the resumption of the current Mexican league season. The 29-year-old joined Tigres at the beginning of 2024 from Mexican club Santos Laguna in a deal that cost the "Tigers" coffers about €5.4 million. Brunetta, who plays as a playmaker, played about 55 matches with Tigres last year and scored and assisted 33 goals. This season, in which he has played 28 matches so far, he has contributed about 17 goals between assists and scores. His contract ends at the end of next year.
