The French coach said: "The third consecutive semi-final qualification is a source of pride. Some may think it has become normal, but in reality it requires a lot of work and effort, and reaching this stage each time is not easy." Deschamps also spoke about the match against Morocco, explaining that it was difficult against an opponent who performed well. He added: "The match was complicated, and missing the penalty made it even more difficult, but when it was Kylian Mbappé who missed it, I wasn't worried because he has a strong personality and doesn't lose confidence. In the end, we succeeded in achieving the goal we came for."

The French manager also revealed the reasons for substituting Mbappé during the match, confirming that the player felt some pain in his ankle, while midfielder Manu Koné suffered a knee contusion, noting that such injuries are normal given the pressure and frequency of matches in the tournament.

Deschamps praised the performance of Warren Zaire-Emery, confirming that he played his role excellently, but at the same time emphasized that the coaching staff selects the lineup according to the needs of each match, saying: "I am happy with what Warren did, but it's impossible for all players to start in every match."

The head coach of the French national team concluded his remarks by confirming that his team will continue to focus on the next match, in order to continue their journey in the tournament and compete for the world title.
