Paris Saint-Germain celebrated its Spanish star Fabian Ruiz after the curtain fell on one of the most successful seasons of his football career, following his triumph with the Spanish national team in the 2026 FIFA World Cup at the expense of Argentina.

The French club posted a picture of the player in the Spanish national team shirt, surrounded by the trophies he won during the season, and captioned it with: "WON IT ALL", referring to the exceptional achievements the midfielder accomplished during a historic year.

Ruiz did not stop at winning the World Cup; he ended the season with an incredible haul of titles, having won with Paris Saint-Germain the Ligue 1, the Coupe de France, the UEFA Champions League, the French Super Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, and the Intercontinental Cup, before adding the World Cup with Spain.

The Spanish midfielder also continued to set records on the international stage, reaching 50 matches with the Spanish national team without tasting defeat, an exceptional figure that reflects his influential role with La Roja in recent years.

The World Cup title was not the only achievement that etched Fabian's name in history; he became the only player in 2026 to win both the Champions League and the World Cup in the same year, joining a historic list of a select few stars who achieved this feat, including Franz Beckenbauer, Gerd Müller, Roberto Carlos, Sami Khedira, and Raphaël Varane.

The exceptional season Fabian Ruiz has had opens a strong debate about his worthiness to be among the top contenders for the Ballon d'Or, having combined individual brilliance with decisive contributions to winning the most important titles with club and country.
