Moroccan national team player Ezzeddine Ounahi expressed his happiness after his country's team qualified for the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup by defeating Canada 3-0.

Ounahi said: 'Thank God, we are happy with this qualification and achievement. We played a great match against Canada and deserved this win.. We congratulate the Moroccan people on this qualification. We are proud of this achievement and will not stop here, with God's will we will reach the furthest point in the tournament.'
