Rome, October 31 /QNA/ Italian club Juventus announced today that its French player Paul Pogba suffered a new thigh injury, which will delay his return to the pitch with his team and threatens his participation with his country's national team in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 finals.

A statement from the Italian club said that Pogba will be away from training for 10 days, until the date when France national team coach Didier Deschamps announces the squad that will participate in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which kicks off on the 20th of next month, making Pogba's inclusion in the French national team list very difficult, especially since he has not played any official match for six months.

Pogba recently resumed group training with his team (new-old) Juventus, with whom he has not played any official match since returning to them this summer from English Manchester United on a free transfer.

Juventus did not set a date for the return of the 29-year-old player, who won the World Cup title in Russia in 2018 with his country's national team France.
