The Spanish national team has regained the efforts of three players before facing Portugal in the Round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup, held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The Spanish team held its final training session at Cotton Bowl Stadium, preparing for its Round of 16 World Cup match against Portugal on Monday.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the highlight of the session was Nico Williams' return to training with the team. The Athletic Bilbao winger trained alongside his teammates, meaning Luis de la Fuente will be able to call upon all 26 players for the match against Portugal.

This will be the first time in this edition of the World Cup that the coach has all his available players.

However, Nico Williams is still not physically ready to start, although all indications suggest he will be included in the squad.
