Haaland surprises Norwegians with a raccoon after World Cup participation
Erling Haaland, the Norwegian star, set social media ablaze after arriving back in his country following the end of his World Cup 2026 campaign, carrying a stuffed raccoon as a souvenir he bought while in the US state of Texas.
Norway's impressive World Cup 2026 journey ended after a 2-1 extra-time loss to England in the quarter-finals.
The Norwegian delegation arrived in Oslo on Monday, and photographers were surprised to see Haaland descending from the plane carrying the stuffed raccoon holding a bottle of alcoholic drink, worth $750.
Haaland's image quickly became the talk of social media, with users describing it as the epitome of Haaland's vitality, as he had been sharing all his daily activities during the World Cup with his followers on Snapchat.
Haaland wore cowboy hats, boots, and shirts while visiting the 'Wild Bill' western wear store in downtown Dallas, and those items quickly sold out after he posted a photo wearing them.
