Al-Taawoun is close to signing Abdulrahman Hindi, the midfielder of first division club Al-Orobah, during the summer transfer window from July 22 to September 6, 2026, according to a source. The same source added that the management has started processing the European visa (Schengen) to allow the player to join training in the Dutch city of Merlo under the leadership of Serbian coach Zarko Lazetic. Hindi, 23, progressed through the youth categories of Al-Fayhaa before moving to Jerash in the summer of 2024. In the 2025 season, the management of Al-Orobah signed the player, and he featured in 27 matches in the Yelo First Division League, totaling 2,018 minutes, scoring two goals and providing one assist, with a market value of 275,000 euros. Al-Taawoun began a training camp in the Dutch city of Merlo on July 5, which will continue until August 5, and includes four friendly matches.
