Tunisian artist Latifa is betting on her audience's interaction with her new music album for the year 2026, the preparation for which took about a full year, featuring long hours of work in the studio, as she aims to present a set of diverse songs that combine renewal and difference. Latifa revealed to Al-Riyadiya a behind-the-scenes aspect of the album's preparation, saying: 'The poets, composers, arrangers, and I worked a lot, and we worked for more than 12 hours inside the studio with all love and dedication to present a work worthy of the audience.' On the health side, Latifa spoke about the improvement of her condition after the injury she suffered recently, explaining: 'I suffered a tendon tear and endured it for three months, but thank God I am now better after a period of treatment and medical follow-up.' Latifa is scheduled to release the album's songs sequentially within a period not exceeding two weeks, coinciding with the summer season, in a plan aimed at giving each song a chance to reach the audience and achieve independent distribution on music platforms, before completing the release of all album songs. Latifa collaborated with arrangers Tarek Madkour and Ahmed Adel, along with poets and composers Mohamed Rafai, Mohamed Shafei, Khaled Taj El-Din, Mohamed Radwan, Gamal El-Khouly, Mohamed Hamed, Mohamed Yehia, Tamer Ali, Islam Rafaat, Ibrahim Ardani, and composer Waleed Saad. Latifa confirmed that renewal is an essential part of her artistic choices, saying: 'I always like to renew my songs in terms of lyrics, melodies, and even the music video shooting. I am not afraid of renewal; rather, I feel great happiness when I prepare a new work for my audience, and I long to see their reaction. I believe all the album's songs are distinctive.' The album's songs vary between romantic and rhythmic, while Latifa is currently selecting the works to be shot as music videos, coinciding with their release, as she focuses on presenting a visual image that keeps pace with the musical renewal she seeks.
