Spanish club Leganés has officially signed Moroccan international Yassine Kechta from French side Le Havre on a contract extending until the summer of 2030.

The 24-year-old midfielder joins Leganés after the end of his contract with Le Havre, embarking on his first experience outside French stadiums.

During the past season, the Moroccan international played 31 matches in various competitions, scoring two goals and providing one assist.

Media reports confirmed that Moroccan international Yassine Kechta was on the radar of Belgian club Standard Liège, which sought to strengthen its midfield during the current summer transfer window, but he ultimately moved to Spain.
