Manchester City FC has organized a public auction to sell items from the office of former manager Pep Guardiola, after he left the club this summer following ten years in charge of the team, according to extra.ie.

The auction includes personal and commemorative items from Guardiola's office, including his famous whistle, his set of coffee cups, the office chair, a desk lamp, several framed photos, as well as some training kits and a winter jacket priced at £790.

The website noted that some items are already attracting high bids, with offers for the coffee cups exceeding £400, the chair reaching around £700, and Guardiola's whistle at £350. The auction also includes a set of incense sticks with matchboxes, a set of tactics notebooks with handwritten notes by Guardiola, along with pens used by the former manager, with bids reaching over £640.

In the same context, extra.ie stated that the most sought-after item so far is a rare commemorative ball produced for the occasion of striker Erling Haaland reaching 100 goals in the Premier League, with its price reaching £4,928.

According to the same source, the auction proceeds are expected to go to the club's charity 'City in the Community', although this has not been officially confirmed by Manchester City's management.

It is worth noting that Guardiola left Manchester City after a period full of achievements, leading the team to six Premier League titles, three FA Cups, five League Cups, in addition to winning the Champions League in the 2022-2023 season.
