Al-Shabab Club announced receiving decisions from the Ministry of Sport banning former club president Khalif Al-Huwaisan and former board chairman Mohammed Al-Munajjem from engaging in sports activity or running for presidency and membership of club boards for 4 years, due to financial and administrative violations observed during their tenure.

Al-Shabab Club announced that the Ministry of Sport informed it of decisions banning former president Khalif bin Abdullah Al-Huwaisan and former board chairman Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Munajjem from engaging in sports activity for four years, after the specialized task force completed studying the financial and administrative violations attributed to the two previous administrations.

The club clarified in a press statement that these decisions follow the Ministry of Sport's statement issued on July 16, 2025, which included dissolving the board chaired by Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Munajjem, as well as the statement issued on December 1, 2025, which ended the assignment of the board chaired by Khalif bin Abdullah Al-Huwaisan.

The statement indicated that the Ministry of Sport formed a specialized task force to inventory and study the financial and administrative violations observed during the tenure of both boards, before issuing regulatory decisions against them.

The decisions included banning Al-Huwaisan from engaging in administrative activity at Al-Shabab Club or any other club for four years, and banning him from running for presidency or membership of any club's board for the same period, based on Articles (94/3/B) and (94/3/E) of the Basic Regulations for Sports Clubs.

The decisions also included banning Al-Munajjem from running for presidency or membership of any club's board for four years, revoking his membership, in addition to banning him from affiliating with Al-Shabab Club or any other club for the same period, based on Articles (94/3/E) and (94/3/W) of the Basic Regulations for Sports Clubs, for violating Articles (28/2/B) and (29/1/B) thereof.

Al-Shabab Club affirmed that the board of directors, implementing the Ministry of Sport's directives, will take all regulatory actions regarding the observed violations and complete necessary procedures to preserve the club's rights in accordance with relevant regulations and rules.
