Modric Agrees to Contract Renewal with Milan
Modric agrees to renew his contract with Milan
Several sources reported that Croatian Luka Modric will sign his new one-year contract with Italian Milan, as expected, just a few weeks before his 41st birthday.
The Croatian international had previously stated that he was unsure about his next step in his football career before the start of the 2026 World Cup, where it was possible he would retire completely.
However, despite that, he decided not only to continue but to play at a high level with Milan, according to what 'Football Italia' reported.
Reports had previously indicated that a new one-year contract would be signed this week, most likely on Wednesday, and things appear to be going according to plan.
Modric is expected to earn €3.5 million annually plus bonuses until June 2027.
Modric played 37 matches for Milan in his first season, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
