(CNN)-- Egyptian actor and Saudi national Mohamed Henedy commented on Argentina's loss in the 2026 World Cup final.

Lionel Messi's teammates suffered a 1-0 defeat to Spain in the final match held at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.

Spain's 'La Roja' secured their second World Cup title, while Argentina's 'Albiceleste' remained with three titles.

Mohamed Henedy posted a picture of the match result on his X account Monday night, commenting: 'We prayed against them (against Argentina) and read Quran and envied them and they reached the final, we supported them and they lost the final, we were supporting them from the start,' adding: 'Congratulations to Spain.'
