Al Qadsiah Club announced its signing of Muhammad Al Qahtani to bolster the first football team for the new sports season, as published on the official account on the social media platform 'X'. Al Qahtani moved to Al Qadsiah after his contract was bought from Al Hilal, which had loaned him to Al Taawoun during the last winter transfer window, as part of the transfer deal of Sultan Mandash to Al Azraq. 'Al Riyadiyah' reported last Thursday, quoting its private sources, that the management of Al Qadsiah agreed with its counterpart at Al Hilal to purchase the remaining period of Al Qahtani's contract. Al Qahtani rose through the youth categories at Al Hilal, and on October 13, 2020, he signed his first professional contract with the club as part of a group of Olympic team players promoted to the first team. In January 2025, the club's management renewed his professional contract before loaning him in the past winter period to Al Taawoun until the end of the season. Al Qahtani's first appearance in the blue shirt was in Al Hilal's match against Al Raed in the round of 16 of the King's Cup competition in the 2021 season. His participation continued until he reached 57 matches, scoring six goals and providing three assists. He played 13 matches for Al Taawoun last season, scoring one goal and providing no assists. Al Qahtani registered his name on the blue list that participated in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in the United States of America.
