Saudi club Al-Hilal has announced the signing of Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville from English side West Ham United, making him their sixth acquisition in the current summer transfer window.

Al-Hilal released a statement on its official website announcing Summerville's joining the squad on a four-year contract, running until 2030.

The club clarified that the Dutch winger signed the transfer contracts on Friday at the team's ongoing training camp in Austria, joining them in preparation for the new season.

Al-Hilal noted that Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, the Saudi club's owner, covered the entire transfer fee, thanking him for his support.

Al-Hilal did not disclose the transfer fee, but previous media reports confirmed it could reach €80 million, making the Dutch winger the second most expensive player in Saudi league history.

Summerville's name stood out in the 2026 World Cup, despite not being a starter in all matches for the Netherlands, after scoring two goals and providing two assists.

Apart from the Dutch national team, Summerville delivered impressive performances last season with West Ham, playing 34 matches, scoring 7 goals and providing 5 assists.

The 24-year-old primarily excels as a left winger, but can also play on the right flank, as well as center forward and playmaker, though less frequently.

It is worth noting that Summerville is the first foreign player, and sixth overall, that Al-Hilal has signed in the current summer transfer window, after Mohammed Al-Owais, Sabri Dahl, Abdullah Al-Anzi, Mohammed Al-Sarnoukh, and Nawaf Al-Habashi.
