(CNN)-- Mohamed Salah's agent, Colombian Rami Abbas, said he does not yet know where the Egyptian star will play in the upcoming 2027/2026 season.

Rami Abbas wrote on his account on the X platform on Friday, following claims linking the player to Turkish club Beşiktaş: "Personally, I don't know where Mohamed will play next season, what does that mean to you?"

Earlier on Friday, Salah's agent had written: "It is not our style to enter into discussions with clubs that Mohamed does not wish to play for, just to stir up hype."

The 34-year-old left English club Liverpool in the current summer transfer window.

Mohamed Salah spent 9 years within the walls of Anfield, achieving with his teammates titles including the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, the English Premier League, and the FA Cup.

Salah recently participated with the Pharaohs national team in the 2026 World Cup, held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
