Japanese club Gamba Osaka announced the departure of their German coach Jens Fessing from the team, in order to complete procedures related to signing a contract with a club outside Japan, confirming that the coach will not accompany the team's pre-season camp currently taking place in Austria.

The club clarified in an official statement that both assistant coach Harry Pfal and fitness coach Timo Rosenberg have also left the team, and that final details will be announced in the coming period after completing official procedures.

According to information from Asharq Al-Awsat, Fessing has finalized his agreement with Al-Ittihad Club to take over the technical leadership of the first team on a two-year contract, pending the official announcement from the Saudi club, with Fessing expected to join the team's camp in Marbella, Spain, in the middle of this month.
